And while police were gathering evidence at the Anchor robbery on East Canal, they heard shots being fired and saw a white car speeding up Dean Street towards Euphrates Avenue.

Police set after it, and found the Honda Civic stopped on Tibruce Street where the driver Earl Young Crawford was taken to the hospital in a critical condition. 6 bullet holes were found in the door and 6 9-millimeter shells were found inside the car.

So far police have determined that Crawford was shot at the corner of Dean and Plues Streets by an unknown shooter.

If his name sounds familiar, it should, Earl Young Crawford was recently cleared of a murder charge after he was accused of killing a police constable Euwin Armstrong.
