He was the last man standing for the September 2005 murder of University of Belize librarian Sherwin Requena but now 19-year-old Edward Lord is a free man.

This morning in the Supreme Court Crown Counsel Merlene Moody entered a nolle prosequi against Lord, basically saying there is not enough evidence against him. And there isn't enough evidence because the star witness against Edward Lord was Sherwin Locke who was killed on March 22nd. Edward Lord was originally charged for the murder along with Evan Neal. The charges against Neal were previously withdrawn.

Joseph Bishop, Darren Banks, and a 16 year old are still facing charges conspiracy to commit murder and abetment to murder. Requena was killed as he stood with friends at the corner of Zacaranda and Oleander Streets.
