Orange Walk Mother Stoned To Death

A mother was brutally murdered, stoned to death, yesterday on, of all days, mother's day in Orange Walk Town. Around 5 pm, residents in the Albert Burns Pasture area of Orange Walk Town heard someone calling for help. They called police and they found the body 33 year old Anna Maria Novelo in a house still under construction.

A medical report she says was literally stoned to death with a large rock. Her clothes were still on so police don't suspect a sexual assault. A man was seen leaving the area a short time later. Reports are that Novelo went there willingly with a male friend and somehow things got deadly. Police have one suspect detained.
