She claims she paid him over $30,000 for three vehicles but she in return got false promises, and now Lucia Herrera wants car dealer Jude Coye jailed. Well part of her wish came through today when 29 year old Coye was charged for obtaining property by deception. No plea was taken and he was offered and met $5,000.
Herrera claims that on march 2nd she gave Coye $10,000 for a 2002 Dodge Neon; on March 8th she gave him $12,349 for a 1998 Chevrolet Tracker; and on April 10th she gave him an additional $10,309 for a 2002 Suzuki XL7. That's three payments for three vehicles amounting to $30,658.83.
Coye was supposed to purchase the vehicles in the states and bring them to Belize for her. But Lucia Herrera alleges that Jude Coye never delivered any vehicles and neither did her return her money.
Coye's case has been adjourned to July 28th.
