He assaulted his ex-girlfriend when she refused to take him back and today a magistrate found Fabian Bain guilty of wounding. The incident occurred on October 14th of 2006. His ex-girlfriend Tanya Bowen told police that Bain came to her home on Far West Street and begged her to take him back. She refused and he later returned and stomped down her door. He then chased her down and beat her. A medical doctor classified her injuries as harm. Bain was also charged with burglary but Magistrate Aretha Ford acquitted him of that charge. For the conviction wounding, Bain was sentenced to 7 months in prison. That 7 months will however run consecutively to any sentence he is currently serving. Bain is remanded at the Hattieville Prison awaiting trial for the murder of Fortunato Tun which occurred on November 23rd of 2006. The preliminary inquiry in that trial begins on September 18th.
