At over $60,000 – it’s worth about the same as a new diesel pickup truck, which is why the theft of a 28-foot skiff and its two outboard engines is news tonight. The boat is the property of attorney Rodwell Williams and it was stolen from his boathouse in the Belama area.

It was reported stolen yesterday morning by Barrow and Williams employee John Wiltshire. He told police that the boat and engines along with canopy worth $2,900 along with a CD player, compass, batteries, raincoats, life jackets, an anchor, and even a tool pan - were stolen from the boathouse between July 21st and 30th.

The value of the boat and accessories is $63,605. Police are investigating but have not tracked down the boat thieves.
