In January 70 year old Harry Eusey was accused of fondling an 8 year old girl and then paying her 2 dollars to keep quiet. Well today Eusey was vindicated when Magistrate Dorothy Flowers acquitted him of the charge of indecent assault. The allegation was that the girl was on her way to school when she was approached by Eusey who touched her inappropriately and then put two dollar coins in her pocket.

The encounter was witnessed by a concerned citizen who called police. The charges didn't hold up in court because the only main witness against Eusey was the girl who gave un-sworn testimony. Eusey's lawyer was Michael Peyrefitte who pointed out that un-sworn testimony shouldn't be the only evidence against an accused.
