Businessman's Deadly Collision into an Ambulance

And in another unfortunate road accident, a man was killed after he crashed head onto an ambulance that had a patient onboard. The patient didn't die but Ernesto Castillo did. Police report that around 11 on Friday night Castillo was driving his Toyota Hilux from Belmopan to Belize City when he lost control and crashed into an ambulance.

The ambulance was driven by 44 year old Gilbert Parham who was transporting a patient from the Southern Regional Hospital to the Western Regional Hospital in Belmopan. Parham along with his passengers Cynthia Marin, Dolores Cho, and Rosaria Mangar received minor injuries. Ernesto Castillo died on impact. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
