Earlier on we told you about Faron Felix's murder. And while that was the first shooting of the weekend - it wasn't the last.
At about 10:40 on Friday night taxi man 50 year old Lincoln Jones says he was near Archie's Restaurant on Central American Boulevard when a man on a bike rode up and asked Jones to pick up his sister. Jones says he drove to Freedom Street but when he got there - three young men jumped into the backseat. He said he was pistol whipped and then shot. The three men fled. Jones received a bruise to his head and gunshot wounds to the right side of his abdomen and left foot near the ankle.
20 year old Kiwani March was also shot over the weekend. He told police that shortly after 8 on Saturday morning he was riding his bicycle on Louise Bevans Street when he heard a gunshot. He later realized that he had been shot. He rode his bike to the KHMH where he was treated and released.
