Confessed Killer & Arsonist Sentenced to 25 Years for Killing Cousin

He killed his own cousin and then set the house on fire to cover the crime and 21 year old Alex Bautista will have to spend 25 years in jail for it. He was charged for murder but last week he pled guilty to manslaughter in connection with the death of 28 year old Gerson Javier Hernandez Ramos. Ramos was stabbed to death inside his apartment on October 19th of 2006. Today Bautista and his attorney Carlo Mason made mitigation pleas to Justice Adolph Lucas. Mason told justice Lucas that Bautista is young and capable of reform. Justice Lucas sentenced Bautista to 25 years for the manslaughter and 8 years for the arson. His sentences will run concurrently.
