He was one of three men charged for storming into the home of businessman Derek Nisbet - and tying him up along with his son Edmund and his female friend on the morning of July 14th. But on Wednesday of last week the charges against Hilberto Gallego were withdrawn by the Director of Public Prosecution's Office. Those charges were 2 counts each of aggravated burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.. He was charged along with Jiovanni Lauriano and Dion Richards. Nisbet along with his son Edmund and the female friend were taken inside the home and kept there for 45 minutes while the men ransacked the house. They made off with $5,000 in cash, thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, and Nisbet's gun. Lauriano and Richards will still have to answer to the charges.
