He’s been missing for 8 full days and tonight Deborah Brown desperately wants to know where her 16-year-old son is. Brown told us that she last saw her son Orlando Sedacey on Monday January 7th around 8 p.m. That was when he left the family’s home in Gardenia Village. Brown says that Orlando, who is a second form student at Ladyville Technical High School, left after an altercation with his uncle. But she says it is highly unusual for him to have simply vanished. She visited our studios this morning and made this tearful plea.

Deborah Brown, Mother
“I can’t know what happened to him because he doesn’t do this. This is the first time this happened. He never goes like this and doesn’t male me know or where he is. He would at least call one of his sisters because he and one of nieces are close and he didn’t go there. There is an old man who likes to visit in Hattieville. I went there and he hasn’t gone there. I searched everywhere and I can’t find him anywhere. It is not like he took clothes, all his clothes are home.

Please come home or call his sister or his auntie or please call me and let me know what is happening. Call me so that I know he is living because I am worrying. I don’t know what happened to him, if somebody hurt him or he died or somebody – I don’t know where he is and I am not hearing anything. It is the first time something like this happened. I am really hurt because I don’t know where he is. I don’t live with anyone. I am a single parent. I struggled with them and I put him through high school because I want the best for him. I don’t want anything to happen to him and right now I can’t take it.”

That picture of Orlando Sedacey is from two years ago. He left home in a camouflage t-shirt and a grey uniform pants. If you know where Orlando Sedacey is, you can contact his family at 668-5372 or 207-1223. You can also contact the nearest police station. His mother also wants him to know that she has left Gardenia and is now in Sandhill.
