PUP Bus Shot After Campaign Rally

A People’s United Party rally was held yesterday in Cayo and when one of the busses was on the way back - it was reportedly shot. 31-year-old Toledo resident Mateo Chuc told police he was in a chartered bus near Esperanza Village, leaving that rally when the rear windshield was shattered. Chuc suspects it was a gunshot and he ran for cover. Police haven’t confirmed if it was indeed a gunshot and are investigating.
