On Monday night, television viewers in Dangriga saw a familiar face on the newscast and wasted no time in calling the police. Now authorities in that southern town are waiting for twenty year old Dennis McKoy to be sent there so he can be slapped with more charges. McKoy who was charged last week in Belize City for several robberies, is the same man who allegedly robbed a number of persons including an attendant at the Havana Gas Station on December thirteenth.
Police say McKoy and another suspect, who is still being sought, may have also been involved in other robberies that occurred over the past few months. McKoy is expected to be transported to Dangriga sometime over the weekend where he will officially be charged for the gas station hold up.
