Police constable Elroy Sanchez has been busted – allegedly for soliciting a bribe. Police say that Sanchez, a traffic officer, was caught when he stopped a driver for a violation and then told him that to get off the charge – he just needed to pay $100. The motorist reported it, and police set up a sting where he handed Sanchez two marked $50 bills. Sanchez was later searched and found in possession of those bills. Sanchez appeared in front of a police tribunal where he pleaded not guilty. His case has been adjourned for February 27th.
