The Sons of Negus also have new music to release. They’ve been gone for a while – close to a year – but like true Bobo Shantis they have been meditating – and it turns out also producing. Ras Bobo today showed us the video for his song – called “I See.” As the name implies – Ras Bobo says the song and video are like his diary of life in the urban jungle.
Ras Bobo,
“The video is named ‘I see.’ This video got made because of all the violence that has been going on and thing and just what I saw see in the ghetto and see what is happening and then I just meditate and make this song. We end up making a video for it and we just want to show the people them what is happening in this everyday like with the youths and what the youths are going through with this violence thing.”
The song was recorded at the Heights of Vibes Studio and produced by Young C. Ras Bobo says he is working on a full album.
