Fire Destroys Apartment in San Pedro

Shortly after 4:00 yesterday – the Fire Department in San Pedro had to put out a fire in the heart of the town. It was in an apartment building on Manta Ray Street and the resident Iris Velasquez was not at home at the time. The value of items destroyed is $7,000 and the building is owned by Ramon’s Village Resort.

Fire authorities believe it may have been caused by some electrical fault because the fire started in the center of the house where the switchbox is located.
