Abigail "Abby" Hensel and Brittany "Britty" Lee Hensel are twin sisters with one body. They are siamese twins – two completely separate persons with two spines, which join at the pelvis, two stomachs, four lungs, and two arms. They are world famous – having appeared on TLC, the Discovery Channel, and numerous talk shows.
This morning the sisters along with their family sailed into Belize on the Norwegian ‘Sun.’ They went on a tour which included snorkeling and returned around 4:30 this evening. Their return created brief pandemonium at the tourism village – as the 18-year-olds were mauled by a throng of Belizeans – some snapping pictures but most just gawking at the conjoined twins. The sisters - overwhelmed by the crowd – hid behind a relative, and declined our request for an interview.
