Belize City police say no decision has been made to charge twenty seven year old BWS employee Kareem Thompson who knocked down a minor late Wednesday evening. The victim identified as fourteen year old Carlos Zelaya was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital suffering from head and body injuries. Today 7NEWS understands that the child’s family transferred their son from the KHMH to another hospital. The teenaged boy is reportedly in a stable condition.

Police investigations reveal that sometime between four and five yesterday evening, Zelaya was riding a bicycle across the Northern Highway between miles two and three when Thompson hit him. The police have done their interviews and taken measurements at the scene. Their investigation continues and it will determine if any charges should be levied.
