And while the Cayo cops expect to make arrests for that killing, in keeping with their pledge to curb crime, on Sunday they apprehended one of their most wanted men. He is Jarod Lamb Arthurs better known as Steel Bob. According to Cayo police Arthurs was wanted for several burglaries and robberies including an escape from custody.
Sometime on Sunday Arthurs was spotted in an area in San Ignacio but when police responded to the location that capture did not go down easy. According to the officer in charge, Senior Superintendent of Police Paul Wade when police ordered the suspect to stop he tried to run away and one of the officers in pursuit shot him in the foot and he is presently under guard at the San Ignacio Hospital.
According to Cayo police they have also been looking into reports that Jarod Lamb Arthurs may have also been involved in the shooting at Glady’s Shop but that has yet to be confirmed.
