2 More Cops Will Be Charged for the Orange Walk Hit

But sources tell us police are close to detaining two of their own in connection with the hit on a Chinese man in Orange Walk.

7News has received credible but unofficial reports which say that two policemen, one a sergeant and the other a constable are being investigated. When we spoke to the Commissioner of Police today, he told us the investigation is not at that level yet.

We do know that one of the officers being investigated is a Sergeant and the other is a constable. The embarrassment is significant for the police as reports are that one of them had recently been sent on an international mission and had to be brought back to Belize to assist in the investigation.
