Teen Charged for May 27th Murder

Belize City Police finally made an arrest in connection with the killing of 30 year old Gilbert Olivera Hamilton Jr. Three weeks ago on May 27th, Hamilton was killed at the corner of Plues and Prince Streets with a gunshot wound to his back. The murder was believed to be a targeted attack as Hamilton was scheduled to appear in court to testify as the main witness in a murder case. The person police have arrested is a tanager. The 17 year old’s name has not been released but he is on remand at the Kolbe Foundation.
