Four days after eighteen year old Steven Grant better known as Eggy was gunned down in broad daylight, police have arrested this man. He is twenty one year old Shain Wilford Louriano, a resident of 4442 Haulze Street. Police say he shot Steven grant several times in the head as he stood on North Creek Road. People in the area recall seeing what appeared to be dark blue car come around the street corner and someone inside the vehicle opened fire. Today we tried to find out from police what the motive may have been, but they had nothing to say only that they have arrested the man who did the killing.
Meanwhile the murder of Steven Grant better known as Eggy was the third for this past weekend. In the first case of Clarence Leslie who was shot and killed on Friday night police have been questioning a number of persons but no one as yet has been arrested nor do they know why he was killed There is also no arrest in the homicide of Barrington Gentle who was killed inside his kitchen as he went to get something from the refrigerator.
Interesting is that since the Sunday night murder, authorities have been questioning the victim’s common law wife who was inside the bedroom at the time of the shooting and two other suspects but we understand that although the police strongly believe that all three persons may know more about the killing there is no evidence to substantiate their suspicion. Following the standard forty eight hours in custody it is expected the woman and two men will be released.
