21 year old Ronlee Petillo is no stranger to police having been charged for various offences including murder – though he has never been convicted. But tonight Petillo is the one accusing and it is against police officers who he claims picked him up on Tuesday afternoon, took him to a deserted area up the road, and brutalized him. With his head in stitches, his right hand in a sling, and bruises on his back, Petillo this evening told us that despite his long rap sheet – he too deserves justice.

“They just came to me and proceeded to me and took me to six miles for no reason at all. I didn’t know why he took me to six miles. He just hauled me and bust open my head and bruk my hand.
And then after that he just went into his vehicle. When I was on the ground he hauled out his pistol and bust two shots in my direction and asked his couple friends if I got ketch and after that he just drove off and when they drove off they ended up getting bogged and so I ended reviving up and when I got up, I went on the street and same time an ambulance was passing and they saw my white shirt under blood same way and so they stopped and took me.”

“What are your injuries?”
Ronlee Petillo,
“My injuries, my hand bruk right now and they are couple stitches in my head.”
Keith Swift,
“So you did nothing to provoke this attack?”
Ronlee Petillo,
“I did nothing as far as I am concerned and I know I did nothing wrong which is why I stopped and made the police searched me. I didn’t run from the police or nothing.
It looks like I don’t have no justice now. If me had done somebody else something like this, then they would have done come for me, they would have done have my face on news, and come for me. This means I don’t have any justice now then?”

“Some people might not feel sorry for you because we have heard of you on the news before.”
Ronlee Petillo,
“I know that and that is why I am telling you Keith that police just accuse me of lone crime and charge me for crime I have no knowledge of none at all. But it looks like now they claim to say they don’t have nothing on me so since they released me it seems they just want to get me off the street. It looks like he wants to murder and kill me and get me off the street.”
Petillo was recently released from prison where he was awaiting trial for the attempted murder of Stackles Monsanto.
