A taxi driver is home on bail tonight after he was charged with aggravated assault for indecently touching an American tourist. 43 year old Patricia Leblanc who sailed in on a cruise ship on Tuesday reported to police that 31 year old Errol “Lighter” Ferguson touched her on her thigh and then kissed her on the neck.
She filed a police report and Ferguson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of $2,500.
In his defense, Ferguson says the report is false and that Leblanc filed it because she had asked him to buy cocaine but he instead gave her baking powder.
