There is news just in about a bus accident this evening on the Southern Highway. Unconfirmed reports are that at around 6 pm on the Southern Highway a James Bus ran over a man who was on the side of the highway. He reportedly was drunk and may have been lying down on the side of the highway. He is believed to have been seriously hurt.

The James Bus left Punta Gorda for Belize City at 4 pm. The accident occurred between Dangriga and Mango Creek. We’ll have more information as it becomes available. Again the reports though are unconfirmed. The information we received was from a passenger on the bus.
