71 year old Emmanuel Gabourel, known as Dawdi who was convicted of aggravated assault of a sexual nature upon a 5 year old female child was sentenced today.

Magistrate Sharon Frazer gave him a year in prison for having sexual contact with the child. The maximum sentence is two years.

He had also been accused of violating that child's 3 year old sister but she could not give police an account of what happened because of her age.
