The twenty year old Police impersonator charged with six offences last week appeared in court today to face the reading of one more additional charge. Aaron Wilson who made every major media house news headlines last week was charged today with aggravated assault with a firearm when he appeared today in the Number one Magistrate's court. Wilson is charged for the incident involving twenty two year old Jermyn Galvez, a bartender of 46 Vernon Street who reported to police that he left MJ's Grand, a night club at Newtown Barracks on Friday, June 18th, and was walking towards his vehicle when he looked back and saw two policemen holding his brother, Zane Galvez. Jermyn said he ran towards the police officers but before reaching them a man dressed in police uniform with whom he had an altercation earlier, asked him why he was running, and fired a shot which missed him. Jermyn said he took two steps forward and the man fired a single shot into the ground in front of him then left. Galvez said he later discovered that the man was not a police officer when he saw a photograph of him in the newspaper. Wilson pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded into custody until September 6th, after the Chief Magistrate Margaret McKenzie explained to him that the court cannot offer him bail because of the nature of the offence.
