The city has been on edge since Sunday night when Michael Malic was executed with 13 gunshots to his body. And then, when Kraal Road Boss Raymond Killa Gentle was murdered on Wednesday evening, the southside went from edgy to red alert. Justifiably so, because last night killers were on the prowl… they found 29 year old Trevor Trapp, a man who was shot 15 months ago - and has had numerous run in's with the law going back over 15 years.
Last night a gunman pumped him full of lead and left him dead in a drain - 7 news was on the scene and Monica Bodden reports:….

Around ten Last night the lifeless body of 29 year old Trevor Trapp - lay in this drain -- at the corner of Haynes Street and Neal's Penn Road - just a block from his home.
As the forensic team processed another homicide scene. The yellow markers - counted as many as 13 expended shells. His body - riddled with gunshot wounds- was hoisted out of the drain and put on a stretcher- As his brother and other relatives stood around his body.
A throng of onlookers gathered behind the yellow caution tapes - while others looked on at what was going on from their yards - the pain of losing a loved one to street violence-was visible on the faces of many out at the scene last night.
Fully arm guards patrolled the area….
Trapp's body was picked up and set in the back of this police pickup truck, shortly after it was taken away through the city streets - straight to the morgue.
29 year old Trevor Dwayne Trapp better known as Sargy, was riding his bicycle on Neal's Pen Road around 9:45 last night.
Upon reaching the corner of Haynes Street he was approached by a man who began firing shots. Trapp was shot 13 times - all over his body.
He died on the spot.
In an off camera interview today with 7news, his father told us how he got the news

"They call me and say that Trevor just got shot, but I never felt that it was serious. There and then we left from home and then we went to the scene. When we reach there we saw Trevor was in the back of the police pickup truck."
Trevor Trapp was already dead by the time his father arrived on the scene…

"Bullet holes all over him, his face was torn with bullet and his head was swollen and his tongue was coming out of his head, his feet look broken up, he was in a very bad state and after that the police left and we went to the hospital where we got a better look at him. That was all that I could have observed. I left because I was in such a rage, I couldn't hold up and I am a sickly person."
Today Sigmund Trapp told us that after the death of Raymond Killer Gentle -the leader of Kraal Road - he spoke to his son about leaving the area due to the gang rivalry that was going on. He also told us that his son had nothing to do with the death of Killa.

"As far as I study it out today, "Killa" got kill and from "Killa" got kill I went there and I talk to Trevor at the old residence at #22 Rivero Street and I told him to let's move from back here and bring him to his mother so he can stay out this side because we already know how they behave back there. He says that he didn't have anything to do with it and we know that he didn't have anything with it. He is a person that is fearful, he is not a person that interact a certain because certain things happen. We brought him out and he went back, it seems that he felt it, like he knew that it was his time and he just went home back there and that is what happens."
The last time Trapp saw his son was on Tuesday evening.

"Tuesday evening we were together, we were at the taxi stand, I had about 4 different jobs where I took him with me. The last job I had was to go to Belama to take a young man by the name of Leon and we i brought him back right there and I gave him $10 and I told him to make sure to go and buy your food and go over to your mother and that's was it I didn't see Trevor all day yesterday and yesterday evening I got extremely busy and I didn't go and check on him at the back there."
Trapp who was no stranger to the law - was shot in the chest on September 27th of 2009.

"Last year on 27th September, 2009 he was shot around the lane from where we use to live at 22 Rivero Street at my brother's place right in front of my brothers place just about 50 yards from the corner of Rivero Street going to the south he was shot. I took him to the hospital and he stayed in the hospital for 50 days, he took a long surgery, I felt that Trevor would have died, he survive that and from then I work with him. I get as close as I could to him, I stayed with him all through the way because I know that he was never a person that have a good health again. When he came out of the hospital he stay at his mom but it so happen that he was not comfortable over this side so I took it upon himself and said that he wanted to go back home and he went back there because that is his birth right spot."
Trapp strongly believes that his son's life was taken as a result of some sort of retaliation - after the death of Raymond Killa Gentle.

"We base it on "Killa" murder and that it is very sad to see how he had change and it happens that way. But little did I know that it would have turn on us that we have to face this problem now that they just took their retaliation out on him, it's not because Trevor is involve or connected to whosoever kill "Killa" it's just that they were frustrated and they felt that the weakest person that they can trip on they will just do and that's it. I just believe they just chance him out of his life."
Today this father is mourning his second son's death, due to gun violence. His other son Andre Trapp was slain in front of the court house on June 10th, 2010.

"We couldn't believe that this is the way it would have end up after all "Killa" got kill and I said fine I will just move him out of the area completely because we already know that my daughter have children for Troy Tillett which is one of the George Street boys. So one of them link our family with them saying that we are bloods and they are crips, but we don't gangbang any at all. My boys they don't gang bang, my next two sons they have their nice job and Trevor never did have any but at the day I was searching for a job for him so that he could move around and stuff like that. It just happens that it end up that way and it's not something easy, it's not an easy thing for me as a father taking so much."
We note that another Trapp brother was killed in a traffic accident a few years ago.
As for Trevor Trapp, it is important to note that he lived on Rivero street, which runs right into to Kraal Road - and though the two groups live literally just feet apart, there has been animosity between the Trapp brothers and Kraal Road for some time.
As we alluded to in the introduction, Trapp had a number of run-in's with police. According to our records he was charged for the election night murder of Adrian Humes back in 2003. He was tried twice for that crime, and was eventually acquitted when he renounced a caution statement that he had given.
He had a number of cases pending for the offences of: "Possession of Unlicensed Firearm", "Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault", Dating back to 2005.
Trapp was seriously injured in September 2009 when he was shot at the corner of Waight Street and Kraal Road, just two blocks across from where he was killed last night, and coincidentally - on the same corner that Raymond Gentle was killed two days ago. The man accused of shooting Trapp in that incident, Michael Warrior Young was killed earlier this year on Boots Crescent - which is in the same general area.
Indeed, it is a tight and tangled maze of crime, killing and loss…and police say, it's also gang related. According to an official press release, quote: "Trapp, was once an associate of Raymond "Killa" Gentle and more recently was an associate of the George Street Gang." According to another police release yesterday, suspects for Raymond Killa Gentle's murder are believed to be members of the George Street Gang.
