GSU Gets GSG Gun

The gang suppression unit has been putting pressure on the George Street Gangsters since in came into existence five months ago. In fact, they've conducted searches on George Street territories - and last night's operation turned up a firearm. At 8:00 pm, the GSU searched an empty lot on Plues Street which turned up one 9 mm Luger pistol along with 1 magazine containing 13 live rounds. No one was found in the area and the weapon was labeled as Found Property. And while no one was found, police say the lot where the loaded weapon was found is across street from a key player in the George Street Gang. Police believe that the weapon was going to be used in the commission of a crime later on in the night.
