Senior Citizen Catches Juvenile In Act

A senior citizen allegedly caught a juvenile in the act of burglary.

73 year old Lim Lo reported to police that around 10:30 on Tuesday morning he went to the upper flat of his building - at number 17 Cork Street - where he found the front door open and realized that his house had been burglarized.

Upon making checks in the yard, Lo saw a male person who he held and handed over to police. He then made checks inside his house and notice that the following items were stolen - assorted clothing valued at three hundred dollars, 2 leather belts valued at 40 dollars, a towel valued at 10 dollars and a purple bed sheet valued at 70 dollars.

Police recovered all items and have detained a 13 year old minor of Belize City pending charges
