Amidst all the corporate chaos at Telemedia that has been dominating the national attention - there was also more of the sustained urban chaos this weekend.
Two teenagers were killed in separate shootings. We begin the bad news with the story of James Lemoth Jr - a 17 year old who had left home at midnight on Saturday - and was found on Sunday morning dead. Monica Bodden has his story:….

This is the spot where 17 year old James Lemmoth - was found lying dead around 5 o'clock on Sunday morning.
His body was spotted through this alley at the corner of South Creek and Kraal Road - just yards away from his home.
He was shot multiple times to the head - which blew off the top of his head. It was a tragic scene for his family.

"I get to understand that it was a person that was going to work about after 5, because she goes to work for 6, her husband takes her to work and he saw the body on the ground and he turn back and told the neighbor to call the police because a body is out there. The neighbor's children comes out early the Sunday morning to play before the police arrive to move the body - the three children found the body on the ground."
The three minors - who were familiar with 17 year old James Lemmoth - were the ones who took the tragic news to his family's house.

"He was shot where?"

"My brother told me that it was in his head because he told me that his entire head top is torn off. I send my brother and my family friend to go and identify the body because I told the police that I never wanted to go."
Neighbors say they heard the gunshots around two o'clock on Sunday morning - three hours before James was found. Earlier that night James had returned home from a party but had left out again to go buy.

"I get to understand that he went to a party and when he left from the party they say that he came home, when he came home he ask the neighbors if they have any "fonto" and they tell him no. One of the neighbors' suggests that "knock knock Chiney" shop on the boulevard might be open. They told him to knock and he might get the "fonto" when he went and come back they must have kill him through the alley. I don't know the reason why they kill him. I would say that the person that kill him is really worthless because he got shot at close range shooting that tore off his entire head top."
But who would want to kill this 17 year old? According to his family James had mentioned to them that someone was trying to kill him.
For what reason? - They still don't know.

"About 3 months he said that somebody wanted to kill him."

"No he didn't say why."
Lemoth was the son of well-known Belize City businessman, Bowegian - who is also James Lemoth Jr.
