On Monday, 7News told you about 19 year-old Myrick Gladden, who was shot to death on Sunday morning. Well today, the man, who police believed was the shooter, was brought to Magistrate's Court.

According to police, at around 12:12 a.m., Gladden, his 27 year-old girlfriend, Shyiana Allen, and his 24 year-old friend, Richard Wade, were walking on Administrative Drive. When they arrived in front of the Charles Bartlett Hyde Building, they were allegedly approached by 20 year-old Tevin Andrewin, who pulled out firearm and fired several shots at the group.

Gladden was hit in twice to the chest, once to the right side of his shoulder and left side of his back. His girlfriend, Allen, also suffered a gunshot injury to her left calf.

Gladden was rushed to the KHMH, but he succumbed to his injuries about an hour later.

Today, Andrewin, who was wanted by police since the shooting, was taken before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith, where he was arraigned on the single charge of murder.

Andrewin requested of Chief Magistrate Smith that disclosure be provided in a timely fashion because he knew for a fact that at least 2 witnesses failed to identify him as the gunman. Chief Magistrate Smith then informed him that this is a new matter, and disclosure is several weeks away.

Andrewin was remanded to prison until his next court date which is set for July 27.
