A group of youth leaders have come together to demand more for the youth in Friday's budget presentation.
Now, as far as we know, the budget exercise is already completed, but these youths say they will no longer tolerate budgets and policies that overlook the youth.
Here's how they explain it:
Micah Goodin - Spokesperson, Nation Builders
"We are recommendations for this year's budget to focus primarily on youths and young people."

"The education and programs for youths seems to be the biggest part of the budget. Why are you all asking for more?"
Micah Goodin "Yes, but most of the times, we hear about monies going toward education and youth, it is normally going toward salary payment. And as such, we are no longer in a position that will say, 'Yes, we accept that.'"
Reporter
"There are many programs, like the apprenticeship, the gang truce, skill training programs for youths, in your view, and in your organization's view, is that enough?"
Micah Goodin
"Some of them are working. The apprenticeship is working, but needs more support, and it is not enough. None of us are red or blue card game. We have put aside those differences, and we have made it known in the group that we do not support or favor one party over the other."
Reporter
"What is the plan of action for your organization? I gather that you want to do something before the budget is presented."
Micah Goodin
"Currently, what we're doing is organizing youth leaders country-wide, organizing youth bodies that will support us in whatever initiative we plan to take after this. We have strategic plans that we will execute after the budget is read."
