While we haven't heard much more than a peep about preparations for the Belize Guatemala referendum in this country, Guatemala is getting ready for it.
This is according to the Prensa Latina news outlet which reports that the Supreme Electoral Court of Guatemala will begin preparations for the referendum next week Tuesday.
According to the report, It will begin after receiving approval from the Congress.
They expect eight million people to register for the exercise.
The simultaneous bi national referendum is set for October 2012.
