A 52 year old man was chopped to death in Frank's Eddie Village along the Western Highway. Santos Sabino Guerra's body was found on a street side in the village yesterday morning around 4:00. He had chop wounds to his face, neck and behind his head. Now, it is still not clear exactly what happened but it seems like a case of a friendly gathering turned deadly. Courtney Weatherburne has more.

Courtney Weatherburne reporting
Franks Eddie Villagers awoke to a ghastly scene early Sunday morning.

Voice of: Resident
"I only just see the body but..."

Courtney Weatherburne, reporter
"The body was right in front of your house right?"

Voice of: Resident
"Yes."

Voice of: Elvin Torres
"I went out and do my checking and I found the body diced up on the ground. It was very badly chopped up. All of the bottom jawbone was off, his tongue was off. It was very horrible."

It was 52 year old Santos Dominguez's body that was chopped and thrown on the side of the road. Information is that he along with a group of friends were hanging out at this house. There was some misunderstanding and a man pulled out a machete and attacked Dominguez. Around 3:00 yesterday morning, one of the residents looked outside only to see a man swinging a machete.

Voice of: Elvin Torres
"She heard some noises outside and she looked outside heard someone hitting a sack with corn in it. When she peeped outside the saw somebody like chopping the ground and she said oh my God they are chopping my dog."

But it was not her dog; it was Dominguez. Residents believe the attack started inside the house.

Voice of: Elvin Torres
"It doesn't seems like he was killed there, because the way it was chopped up it would have a lot of blood, but it didn't have much blood. But there is where they finished him, because someone was right there chopping up the body. The screams originated from a house beside us, so probably it started there and after that they put in there and finished him out there."

Dominguez's son says he doesn't know exactly what fueled this deadly attack but that his father was a good man and he didn't deserve such a gruesome death.

Jose Guerra, Son
"I don't know, all I know that he is a good man and I don't know why this happened to him, I don't know."

"All I know is that he doesn't have any enemies there in the village but you never know, these are things that happen."
