We've already told you about a chopping murder in Frank's Eddy, and a non-fatal shooting in Roaring Creek. Well those weren't the only violent assaults out west this weekend.
There was another shooting incident last night, this time in La Democracia village where an 18-year-old was shot at after an altercation with two men on bikes.

"Just minutes after 8pm Mr. Tyrese Smith, a 18 year old Belizean of that same village was walking on a unknown street in Democracia with other family members when he was approached by 2 male persons riding on separate bicycles and an exchange of words ensued between the 2 of them. Thereafter the 2 male persons just ride a distance apart from him and one of the male persons just turned and fired several shots at his direction hitting him to his body and causing injuries to him. Mr. Smith was admitted to the hospital and he is a stable condition at this moment. So far we don't have any motive. I know that it's only an argument that ensued between them at the time he was going home."
