53 year old Esteban Arana was knocked down and killed as he walked on the roadside. Police told us more today. Â

"Around 6 PM, Corozal police visited an area between mile 78 and 79 where they found the motionless body of Esteban Arana, 53 year labour of Ranchito village. He had several injuries to the head and body. He was taken to the hospital and he was pronounced dead on arrival. Information revealed that he was walking on the highway and he was struck by a vehicle, which fled from the scene. At that time it was raining and we're asking the public's assistance to give us information if they know of what vehicle hit this person.
