And, indeed, it should be a sobering lesson for all drivers. As we said at the top of the news, it is the worst accident we have in our records. To find the closest comparison, we have to go back to January of 2003 - when six died in a collision between a cargo truck and a rental car with two European tourists at mile 28 on the same George Price Highway. In that accident, four persons died on the scene - including the tourists. Two other men died a few days later - for the total of 6. We have also reported on a number of accidents involving five dead - most notably in July of 2010, when a mother and her children were killed - and then, a sixth man died the day after when he was clearing the wreckage off the scene. That accident also happened on the George Price Highway, but at mile 29.Â
