But it wasn't gang violence that caused a house to come down in San Ignacio on Sunday - it was a truck rolling downhill that couldn't stop!
Residents of that home are lucky to be alive after a ten wheeler truck crashed into their home. It happened on Sunday, around ten in the morning and police gave the details today:

'What police know so far is that the truck was being driver by one Ervin Torres and according to him, he was moving a number of materials when he was going in that direction and he seemingly loss control of the truck due to some mechanical problems. The occupants of the home one Julie Magali and her 2 children; Melvin Moltalvan, 9 years and Jamid Moltalvan, 7 years received minor injuries. The driver was detained by police and later release pending the investigation. What we also have been able to gather is that those persons concerned have approached the family and have indicated that they will compensate for the damages. A stament has not yet been recorded from the witness. We are in the process of doing that at this time."
According to police, the driver of the vehicle did not seem to be inebriated.
