Coro Shooting Has Underworld Connects

Ranchito residents were alarmed last night when they heard about ten gunshots around 6:25. Later, it was discovered that 27-year-old Benigno Loria had been shot multiple times inside his garage in his yard. His common-law wife was reportedly about to drive into the yard, when the gunman used the opportunity of the open driveway gate to run into the yard and open fire in Loria's direction. Loria was admitted to the Corozal Community Hospital but later transported to the KHMH and is listed in a stable condition.

The shooting is believed to be related to underworld activity.
