Last night we brought you the tragic story of Myron Samir Itza, the 14-year-old who snuck out after curfew on New Year's Eve, only to turn up dead in a nearby house on New Year's Day.

It's a tragedy for his family made worse by the uncertain circumstances under which it occurred.

But tonight some light has been shed on the manner in which Shamir died. His postmortem classifies his cause of death as "Acute Respiratory Distress." and not an overconsumption of alcohol, as had been suspected. But this is still indeterminate, it does not say how a teenaged boy ended up in acute distress.

Police say that samples have been taken from the scene and that the investigation continues.
