30 Pounds On Tower Hill

Tonight, yet another cop has been busted weed. This bust, like the one involving his colleague three weeks ago, happened in Orange Walk. And at about 11:45 this morning 33-year old Rosendo Cantun was stopped at a checkpoint at the Tower Hill bridge.

Officers searched the rear cargo area of his black Ford Escape and found a black plastic bag containing 24 saran wrapped parcels filled with almost 30 pounds of weed. Cantun was later charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.

The last cop to be charged with this offense was Dion Bellini, also from Belmopan. He was busted in a parking lot with 40 pounds of weed.
