And in other crime news, a trio of robbers are on the run after they targeted at least two establishments in San Roman Village. Their latest robbery was caught on surveillance footage and now the community is hoping they will be found and brought to justice. Courtney Menzies has this story.

A trio of thieves are reportedly targeting business places in San Roman Village. Last night, just before 8, the surveillance footage in an Asian grocery store shows three men robbing the cashier.

The first man enters while there is still another customer in the store. He pretends to shop around until the customer leaves.

Then, the second robber races into the store and yanks up the protective plastic apron around the counter.

He immediately shoves a gun in the cashier's face, followed by the first robber who also approaches the counter with a gun. The first man then goes around the counter.

A third accomplice then calmly walks into the store and observes what is going on. He watches with his hands behind his back as the first robber grabs whatever valuables he can find.

For a moment, he steps out, presumably to keep watch.

And the other two men are seen hitting the cashier in his head with the gun.

The third man walks back into the store and seems to grab something off the counter. Meanwhile, the robber behind the counter is stuffing money into a bag. He spends about a minute and a half behind the counter.

Once he finishes, the two men run out of the store, and he follows closely behind with his bag.

Last week, the men also reportedly robbed a boutique in the same village.
