But we may be seeing a spike in numbers soon following various Valentine's Day celebrations at least that's what Dr Cuellar thinks.
Last night on UnCut, while discussing the possibilities of the PUP convention and the upcoming Municipal Elections as spreader events, Dr Cuellar noted that any event that entails a gathering of people can contribute to a spike in cases. He also mentioned the crowds that were gathered at Old Belize this past weekend could lead to more positive numbers.
Dr. Fernando Cuellar - Internist "Any event weh wah include a bunch of people, okay, for example they showed me a video of Old Belize this Sunday. That beach dah mih like big party mih the go on, lot of people. I sure that out of that, once the exposure happens, two weeks after we wah get the sick people and hospitalization. Be it for politics, be it for elections, be it for party, anything right now weh entail a coming together of people wah contribute to higher numbers. So that's why we should still have that amount of restrictions in term of gatherings and so forth."
