Keeping it in the south, we've told you how those waters have been infested recently with pirates. There have been numerous reports of fishermen being robbed of their catch and their equipment out at sea. And today, four possible suspects for coastal piracy went to court but not for robbery.

The men are 32-year-old Derek Gorosica, 27-year-old Raheem Vernon, 22-year-old Oscar Francisco Gutierrez and 49-year-old Oscar Williams. They were arraigned today in the Belize City Magistrate's Court on possession of shark, possession of bone fish, gill nets and for using gill nets. Vernon was additionally charged with fishing without a valid license. They were caught on February 16 in the area of Northern Long Caye.

The men all pled not guilty to the charges and were offered bail of $2,500, which they met. But their freedom was short lived as they were rearrested right on the courthouse steps, pending additional charges in connection with the investigation into crimes at sea.
