Our next two stories are about police operations on Placencia targeting drugs and guns - but it's not the usual suspects; in this case it's a Canadian and an American - one caught with drugs bagged off for sale, the other caught with two guns.

We start with the pre - dawn GOOD FRIDAY search of the home of Canadian expatriate Micheal Gilles where they found two thirds of a pound of crack cocaine, and 4 ounces of cannabis. Now while a search for this kind of product could happen un-announced at any give day and time in any part of Belize - in this case Police told us they got a warrant:

ACP Joseph Myvette

"The police were acting on the information and obtained a warrant to search his home."
