And in the Placencia Peninsula's second-weekend incident, another ex-pat, this time 67-year-old American Jay Krichelich was found with two unlicensed firearms along with ammunition - one of which has only just resurfaced after it disappeared in a Dangriga burglary last year.
We heard more from ACP Myvette about this search which happened on Sunday afternoon.
ACP Joseph Myvette
"Also on Yesterday's date police conducted a search at the home of John "Jay" Krichelich 67 years American businessman and the search resulted in the discovery of two firearms one being a 38 special revolver along with 10 rounds of 38 special ammunition and a 9-millimeter pistol along with 12 rounds of 9-millimeter ammunition the 9-millimeter pistol is said to have been stolen from a licensed holder in Dangriga town during a burglary late last year."
Cherisse Halsall:
"Sir is there any connection between searching his home and searching the previous home?"

ACP Joseph Myvette
"No, I would say that police were just carrying out operations over the Easter weekend which resulted in those searches."
ACP Myvette couldn't confirm whether Krichelich was previously known to Placencia police.
And while two unlicensed guns in your house would surely result in remand for 99.9% of the population, reports tell us that the 65-year-old is free on bail tonight, after the local Magistrate granted him bail for the 2 illegal firearms that were found in his home.
