But the violence didn't end there because on Sunday, the day after Clifford Hyde's brutal murder, shots flew at one of his family's business establishments. We heard more about the incident from ACP Myvette who told us that the incidents are likely connected.
ACP Joseph Myvette
"Yesterday morning sometime around 10:00 a.m. police responded to a shooting scene at a residence in Roaring Creek where we were told that two persons were hanging out on the streetside when they were approached by a lone gunman who fired several shots towards their direction, however, no one was hurt during the incident."
Cherisse Halsall:
"Sir were those two people at the previous gathering?"
ACP Joseph Myvette
"I am not able to say that at this time, I would have to confirm that."
The men targeted in Sunday's shooting are relatives of the Hyde family.
