Police have been quick to make an arrest for the murder of 41 year old Camalote resident, Clifford Hyde.
Roaring Creek Police have charge3d a man first detained right after the shooting. He is 26 year old Hugh Daniel Middleton, from Roaring Creek. Today in Belmopan Magistrate's Court he was charged for the murder of Clifford Hyde and the attempted murder of his daughter, 18 year old Anya Galvez, as well as Dangerous Harm, and Use of Deadly Means of Harm.
Police say Middleton is the gunman who let off a spray of gunfire on Hyde, hitting him 8 times as he was leaving a family gathering in Roaring Creek Village on Holy Saturday afternoon.
Hyde had released from prison between 3 and four months ago after serving a 15-year sentence for manslaughter.
